Kula Ring: A kula ring is a ceremonial exchange system that was started by the Milne Bay Province of Paupa, New Guinea. This exchange system traded many collectables as well as other valuable commodities. The ceremony was first described to westerners by anthropologist Bronislaw Malinowski in 1992.
