The Tombs of Buganda Kings at Kasubi is a large site consisting of agricultural land and a main building called the Muzibu Azaala Mpanga.  The main building shows vast technological advances in structure and design. The tombs hold numerous Bugandan Kings still honored today.  The architecture of the this site is important both culturally, historically and spiritually and is still upheld today.

Threatened: This archaeological site has been almost completely destroyed by a fire said to have been started by arson on March 16th 2010. Protests were made when the Ugandan King tried to visit the site and two of the protestors were shot and killed. Plans to rebuild are in the works.

      if you log in and edit the post, you can switch from ‘Visual’ to ‘Html’ editing, and you’ll probably see some extra html code right where the font changes. If you just take that out, it should make it all the same size.
