Sami

Sami: An ethnic group, which dates back to about 98 AD, that embraces many different culture in the far north of europe.  The sami people are located in four different countries: Norway, Sweden, Finland, and Russia’s Kola peninsula.  They are known for their work in reindeer herding, and their culture values their traditional life style that dates back thousands of year.  The sami people have strong family ties that have passed on folklore based upon specific spirits that are with the dead and associated with certain places.
